Cameron L. Mitchell

Cameron L. Mitchell is the Founder and Executive Director of Free Fyre. Cameron, is an international artist known for his transformative storytelling. Honored as the 2022 Poet Laureate of Murfreesboro, he has collaborated with organizations nationally and internationally such as: Legacy Foundation in Japan, Nafasi Art Space in Tanzania, Faith Temple in Germany, Disney, PBS, Bobby Jones Show, Vanderbilt University, National Jazz Museum of Harlem, NY, and other cities such as Chicago, Illinois, Memphis, TN, Atlanta, among several others.

An award-winning actor, Cameron is known for his role as Corey Maxson in “Fences” (Nashville Rep) which received the award for Best Contemporary Drama. Cameron is also starring in the feature film “Dating My Past” that premiered internationally in Curacao. The Film is currently streaming online globally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Peacock.
